Bright Futures Councils - Serve on the council by attending meetings and being involved in the life of the school district. Parents, faith-based, business, and human service partners are welcome.
Page Turners Reading Program - We are seeking local community partners to read with students once a month. The reading sessions are on the third Wednesday of each month from 1:30-2:30 p.m.. Arkansas Middle School will provided individualized learning packets to ensure volunteers are meeting the unique needs of each student.
Lunch Buddies - We recognize that children of all ages experience various phases of growth and change. These transitions can sometimes lead to stress due to academic challenges, peer relationships, and social pressures. The Lunch Buddy Program provides students with a supportive, encouraging presence during their school day, helping them navigate these experiences with confidence. The Lunch Buddy Program pairs students with caring role models from the community to share lunch together once a month for approximately 40 minutes. During this time, students can talk about their academic and social experiences or simply enjoy lighthearted conversation.
Adopt-A-School - The Adopt-A-School Partnership Program is dedicated to building meaningful connections that enrich both education and the broader community. By fostering collaboration between schools and the private sector, we create partnerships that are mutually beneficial and focused on enhancing student success.
Tunnel of Hope - Volunteers welcome students back to school or inspire students as they prepare for testing, etc.
Volunteers in Public Schools - Volunteer in our schools. Our campuses are filled with abundant ways community members can lend a hand.
