Lunch Buddy Program
We recognize that children of all ages experience various phases of growth and change. These transitions can sometimes lead to stress due to academic challenges, peer relationships, and social pressures. The Lunch Buddy Program provides students with a supportive, encouraging presence during their school day, helping them navigate these experiences with confidence.
What is the Lunch Buddy Program?
The Lunch Buddy Program pairs students with caring role models from the community to share lunch together once a month for approximately 40 minutes. During this time, students can talk about their academic and social experiences or simply enjoy lighthearted conversation.
How Does the Program Benefit Students?
By participating in the Lunch Buddy Program, students gain:

Additional positive relationships

Improved speaking and listening skills

A boost in confidence and self-esteem

A sense of belonging and encouragement
These meaningful interactions foster healthy attitudes, positive behaviors, and essential life skills, helping students grow into successful and productive citizens.
