The heart of this partnership lies in the after-school mentoring program known as the Red Tie Club. Bright Futures Texarkana Arkansas and the Texarkana Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. members are actively engaged in providing an extended learning experience for Kilpatrick scholars. This community outreach is a beacon for education empowerment and skill development. Members of the fraternity serve as mentors to the Kilpatrick scholars. The Red Tie Club goes beyond traditional mentoring, offering a holistic approach to education. Scholars are not only guided academically but are also encouraged and empowered to develop a variety of skills deemed essential for their continued success.
