Bright Futures Texarkana Arkansas has implemented a reading buddy program at Arkansas Middle School called “Page Turners.”

Our reading buddies include local business owners, retired teachers, community volunteers, and Texarkana Arkansas School District alumni, just to name a few.

We are seeking local community partners to read with students once a month. The reading sessions are on the second Wednesday of each month from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Arkansas Middle School will provided learning packets to volunteers prior to each session to provide time for volunteers to become familiar with the materials prior to each session.
